United International Bank congratulates its staff for achieving academic qualification and professional designations.

UIB’s General Manager & Acting Chief Executive officer Abdulla Janahi held a meeting yesterday with seven employees that have recently completed and attained professional qualifications and academic degrees.

The graduates and their achievements are:

1-Mr.Sohail Tohami- Assistant Vice President-Treasury & Asset Management Department has been awarded the CFA (chartered Financial Analyst) by the CFA institute in the USA.

2- Mr. Hameed Kazerooni-Senior Auditor -Internal Audit Department has been awarded the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) from The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) Florida USA.

3- Mrs. Saba Seyadi- Assistant Manager Investment – Post acquisition and Monitoring Department received her MBA from Strathclyde University and did her thesis on The U.S. – Bahrain Free Trade Agreement: The Application of Comparative and Competitive Advantage Theories.

4- Mrs. Sudha Tilani- Compliance Officer-Risk management & compliance department has completed CAMS Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, from Florida, USA to be a certified Anti-Money Laundering specialist.

5-Ms. Mansoora Haroon – Officer -Treasury & Asset Management Department attained The ACI Dealing Certificate from ACI – The Financial Markets Association, Paris, to become a certified dealer.

6-Mr. Habib Murtadha- Officer – IT Department has completed the MCSC degree (Microsoft certified systems Engineer).

7- Mrs.Zeeba- Askar- Manager – Equity Investment Group has successfully completed CFA LEVEL ONE

UIB GM & Acting CEO Abdulla Janahi congratulated the graduates on their achievements and emphasized that UIB management encourages its employees to continue with their professional development.

He also added that keeping up-to-date with the latest market developments equips employees to contribute more effectively to the company’s operations.
